Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GameOn mobile applications and website (together, the "Services"), operated by THEGAMEISON LIMITED ("GameOn", "we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17138051), registered office 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA.
By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Definitions
- Player — a user who books sports facilities through the Services.
- Venue partner — a business or individual that lists and manages facilities through the Services.
- Booking — a reservation of a facility made through the Services.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account secure. You must tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
3. What GameOn does
GameOn is a platform that connects players with venue partners so that players can find and book sports facilities. GameOn is not the owner or operator of the venues listed on the platform. The contract for the use of a facility is between the player and the venue partner. We are not responsible for the condition, safety, availability or quality of any venue or facility, although we work to maintain a trustworthy platform.
4. Bookings and payments
- When you confirm a booking, you agree to pay the price shown, including any applicable fees.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment you also agree to Stripe's terms. We do not store your full card details.
- We may charge a service fee for facilitating bookings. Any fee will be shown before you confirm.
- Venue partners receive payouts through Stripe and are responsible for setting their own prices, availability and any local taxes.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Bookings may be cancelled in line with the cancellation rules shown at the time of booking and within the app. Where a refund is due, it is processed back to your original payment method. Refunds may be reduced by non-refundable platform or processing fees. Venue partners are responsible for honouring confirmed bookings and for any cancellations they initiate.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
- upload content that is illegal, infringing, offensive or misleading;
- interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services;
- misrepresent your identity or a venue's details; or
- use the Services to harass, abuse or harm another person.
7. Additional terms for venue partners
If you use the management app as a venue partner, you are responsible for keeping your venue and facility listings accurate and up to date, for honouring confirmed bookings, for complying with all laws applicable to your business (including health, safety and tax obligations), and for the conduct of staff you grant access to your account.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload (such as photos). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and use it solely to operate and promote the Services. You confirm that you have the rights to the content you upload.
9. Intellectual property
The Services, including their software, design, logos and branding, are owned by GameOn or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from them except as permitted by these Terms.
10. Third-party services
The Services rely on third parties including Stripe, Supabase, mapping providers, and the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any venue or facility will meet your expectations. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have as a consumer under UK law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or data. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that may cause harm or legal risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
