Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your The Game Is On account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to make a request and what data is deleted or retained.

How to request account deletion

Email us at support@thegameison.uk with the subject line Delete my account.

Please send the request from the email address linked to your The Game Is On account. If you contact us from a different email address, we may ask for additional information to verify that you own the account before deleting it.

What we delete

After verifying your request, we will delete or anonymise data associated with your account, including:

• your account and profile details, such as your name and email address;
• authentication records linked to your account;
• saved preferences and app profile information; and
• uploaded profile images, where applicable.

What we may retain

Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or safety reasons. This may include:

• booking and payment transaction records;
• refund, cancellation and support history related to completed bookings;
• records required by tax, accounting or legal obligations; and
• limited security logs needed to protect the service.

Where we retain information, we keep it only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. Financial and transaction records are generally retained for up to six years where required by law.

How long deletion takes

We aim to respond to deletion requests within one month. In most cases, account deletion will be completed sooner once we verify the request. We will let you know if we need more information or if your request is complex and requires more time.

If you want to request deletion of specific data without deleting your whole account, email support@thegameison.uk and describe the data you want us to review.
